1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BillManager ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

BillManager is a financial tracking application that helps users manage recurring bills, track payments, and organize their financial obligations. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with various pricing tiers offering different features and limits.

3. Account Registration and Security

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

4. Subscription and Billing

4.1 Free Tier

We offer a free tier with limited features. Free accounts are subject to usage limits as described on our pricing page.

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fees.

4.3 Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 14-day free trial of paid features. At the end of the trial period, you will be automatically enrolled in the free tier unless you subscribe to a paid plan.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

5.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will retain access to paid features until the subscription expires
  • Your account will be downgraded to the free tier after expiration
  • Your data will be retained but subject to free tier limits

5.2 Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may provide refunds at our discretion in cases of:

  • Billing errors
  • Extended service outages
  • Other exceptional circumstances

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
  • Use the Service to store or transmit infringing, libelous, or otherwise unlawful material
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without authorization
  • Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service

7. Data Ownership and Privacy

7.1 Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service ("Your Data"). We do not claim any ownership rights to Your Data.

7.2 Data Use

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We will not sell or share Your Data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

7.3 Data Export

You may export Your Data at any time using the export features available in the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by BillManager and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BILLMANAGER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BillManager and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
  • We may delete Your Data after a reasonable period (typically 30 days)
  • Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the United States.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BillManager regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
